WILD 953 and Alberta Music Announce This Year’s Final Top 12 Artists for Project WILD: Country Artist Development in Alberta
WILD 953 and Alberta Music are pleased to announce the final list of Top 12 Artists for Project WILD. Due to various commitments, Livy Jeanne, and Scott MacKay, two of the original artists announced on June 12, will not be able to participate in the program.
We are excited to introduce Domino (Stettler), and Midnight Lights (Peace River), and welcome these two groups to Project WILD’s 2016 program! The Top 12 artists, in alphabetical order, include:

Each of the Top 12 Artists will make their debut with Project WILD on Sunday, July 3rd at Knoxville’s in Calgary (840 9 Ave SW), completing orientation and then performing for the public to get their first live listen in a series of showcase events running through to the November 2016 finale. Project WILD is designed to develop and launch the careers of some of Alberta’s up and coming country artists. It also hopes to foster the Alberta music industry and create a sense of community amongst artists and music professionals. Top Prizes this year for the Alberta Project include a $100,953 top prize, $75,000 second prize, $50,000 third prize, as well as a $5,000 Development award given to each Top 12 band to help them with their career development.
