WILD 953 and Alberta Music Announce the Project WILD Top 3 Finalists

November 10, 2016, Calgary, AB: The scores are in, the counting’s done… WILD 953 and Alberta Music are thrilled to announce the TOP 3 FINALISTS in this inaugural year of Project WILD: Country Artist Development. All are up for the top prize of $100,953. That’s a lot of cash for a young Country Music Artist! Put through their paces at Country Music Biz Bootcamp, along with the rest of the Project WILD Top 12, these artists really learned the ropes. But these three netted the highest scores for everything from a kick-ass live show to a business plan that would make Warren Buffet proud; from chart topping songwriting to four career boosting challenges, all capped off with public online voting.

The Top 3 finalists will burn the house to the ground at Flames Central in Calgary, on Saturday, November 26th, and at the end of the night we will reveal who will walk away with the first, second and third prizes.

In no particular order, the Top 3 finaists for 2016 Project WILD: Country are:

SYKAMORE (Carseland)
THE DUNGAREES (Edmonton)
KEN STEAD (Edmonton)

$100,953.00 will go towards the career of the winning band or artist. Second and third place receive $75,000 and $50,000 respectively; a sizeable boost to the careers of all three recipients. Funds will be administered through Alberta Music.
