Flaysher

Based on the last name of two ‘born and raised’ Albertan brothers, Flaysher is a CMAB Award-nominated Canadian country duo with grit in their blood harmonies and unvarnished truths in their lyrics. True blue-collar boys - you can almost hear the sawdust in their voice from growing up on dusty job sites working for the family business. Once again teaming up with Juno award-winning producer Matty McKay (Brett Kissel), their brand new single Coastin’ shows their sweeter side, painting a vivid picture of the perfect beach vacation with your one and only.

Flaysher released their debut country single “Flat Broke Famous" March of 2020. In just the first month (despite the setbacks of COVID-19) their debut single “Flat Broke Famous” hit 2,000 streams on Spotify and gained over 800 monthly listeners. The brothers also saw an increase of over 10% in their social media following (real followers). Tracking the single at secondary radio themselves, the single was put into rotation on two country format radio stations in Alberta, four in Saskatchewan and one in Ontario. For their follow up single they teamed up with radio tracker, Bob Martineau. “Ride” saw similar traction, this time also garnering the support of Sirius XM/CBC Country. 

The duo was nominated for Country Music Alberta’s Duo/Group of the Year in 2020 and on the ballot for Country Music Alberta’s Fan’s Choice.
