It has been a couple days since my showcase now… and I still can’t get the smile off of my face.
Having the opportunity to jump on stage with literally the best musicians in Canada is one of the greatest feelings ever. These guys are as good as it gets. 2 times running through each song before the performance, and they just NAILED IT!
Following the performance, being critiqued by Tamara Beatty was amazing. It was awesome hearing her feedback on my performance, as well as being able to hear her feedback on everyone else’s performance. With every different person who performed, she picked something out in their performance to focus on that she had not previously talked about. By focusing on so many different pieces of the puzzle that help create an outstanding live performance, everyone was able to learn something from each of her feedback sessions that could be related back to their own show.
Really enjoyed this night…. Definitely one for the books.
